Green

I dont usually tend to where colours on my eyes. I go for the brown shades or a grey smoky eye sometimes when I'm going out. But today while my daughter was napping I decided against doing the sensible thing which would be to clean my house and instead started playing with makeup! As you do.

I started playing with green colours and even went for some lashes to finish the look off which is another never for me. I recently bought the DUO eyelash glue in the dark shade and was curious to see if there was much of a difference and I loved it.

Purple

I don't really wear make-up during the day anymore. Apart from rarely getting time to put it on my eldest daughter is at the age where is questions everything I do and I've yet to come up with a good enough reason for why I'm smearing brown stuff on my face ;)  So while my girls were napping today I decided to take some "me time" and do a going out look.

How to do Matte Effect Nails

I never thought I would find a nail effect I loved more than the gel effect, that was until I tried the matte effect! Safe to say this will be my go to for Autumn/Winter.

HOW TO: Do a Doughnut Bun

Its so simple and this is all you'll need.

Brush, Clips, Doughnut, Hair Bobbin, Hair spray

Chose clips and a doughnut that match your hair colour.

Start by putting your hair in a high ponytail.

If you have fine hair like me, backcomb it to give some volume.

Pull your hair through the doughnut.

Pull pieces of hair around the doughnut and clip them in place.

Spray your bun with some hairspray so it stays put all night.

And your done!!!!!
